GYM & JUMP - Advanced
Tweens and teens, who are at an advanced level and able to perform skills such as: roundoff back handspring and front or back walkovers, kip up on bars, handsprings on vault and back flips on the trampoline are encouraged to join the Advanced Gym & Jump program. This program is also suitable for former competitive gymnasts who want to be challenged and have fun without the pressures of competing or training long hours. Minimum age is 9 years. Maximum age is 17 years. At the discretion of the coach and class, students may also have an opportunity to sample teeter board, trampo wall, Chinese Pole and other circus events. The focus however, will be on gymnastic apparatus.
Please note that this class has prerequisites and requires and evaluation by the Youth, Tween & Teen Program Director.
