This Contortion class will focus on building flexibility & developing strength in a safe manner. Dynamic stretching, static poses, and partner stretches will be used to increase flexibility. Strength building to support and improve flexibility will also be included through body weight exercises, cardio fitness, and various circus apparatuses. Each class will have a warm up & skill-specific conditioning to ensure safety and preparedness. This class will work on contortion on the floor, handstand blocks, and canes. Participants will work with a coach to develop a contortion routine which will be performed in class at the end of the session. This program is open to anyone 9 years and up.
