Do you dream of running away with the circus? Of performance and applause? Flip Factory is looking for talented and driven performers to join our circus programs for Fall 2019! We will be holding open auditions for all of our circus performance & skill development programs. Programs included in the audition process will be:
Cirque du Flip - Flip Factory’s in-house Circus Troupe! Cirque du Flip will spend the session creating a one-of-a-kind, original circus performance. Coaches & kids will work together to develop this performance working with the performer’s existing skills. Open to kids 9 - 17 years old.
Cabaret - Open to performers 18 years and up, Flip Cabaret performers will work under the direction of Flip Factory’s Artistic Director to create shows to be held in our Flip Arts theatre space. Shows will be open to the public and held on a regular basis through the year. This program is a great way for professional performers to showcase new material, workshop ideas in front of a live audience, and collaborate with professionals.
Performance Development - This program is open to circus performers 9 - 17 years old who want to develop routines on their apparatus of choice. Performers and coaches will collaborate to create professionally choreographed performance routines. These routines will form the base for Flip’s Performance Troupe which will perform at various events locally, provincially, nationally, or even internationally!
